CDVA is a registered charity (no. 1058579) governed by a Board of Management (Trustees) nominated and elected by its members. CDVA membership has representation from over 200 local voluntary & community groups and a small number of individuals.

What does CDVA do?
CDVA provides a wide range of support and services to groups, helping those that are starting up, as well as organisations that are already established. We are committed to equal opportunties and to making our services relevant and accessible to smaller groups.
CDVA also supports networks and partnerships working and has an intermediary role, supporting and facilitating joint working between voluntary and community groups and with statutory bodies; and helping to ensure that the interests and concerns of the voluntary and community sector are properly represented.
In addition to supporting groups, we also support individuals who wish to become a volunteer and those already involved in volunteering.
